When an addiction is bad there is no stopping it.
Another behavioral sign of a person addicted to drugs or alcohol may be depression. A person may seem very withdrawn and emotionally unstable at times. They may have a problem meeting deadlines and missing school or work. The person will have complaints from their boss or their teachers at school. They may even have reports of intoxication or drug induced behavior. Always pay attention to complaints that are passed your way about someone you love abusing drugs or alcohol. These complaints should never be passed off as invalid. If you can stop a habit before it forms then you can save a life.
There are many signs to look out for if you feel that someone you love may be using drugs and alcohol. These signs may be behavioral or physically obvious. If you care about the person then you will take the time and pay attention to the way they look and behave.
